This from some academic hack playing at Japanophile (w/o knowledge ofthe language).
Pushes the limits of 'gimmie a break.'
Best you look up the big words in the OED so that you don't beclown yourself using them malapropistically, as you have here. Your sentence should read "....playing at Japanologist...."
PS: Also, anonymous abusive comments declare lack of conviction, or worse.
